Without accurate tracking, you won\u2019t know which ad actually sells. The Pixel tracks events from the browser, the Conversions API sends them from the server, and combining both gives more accurate data even with ad blockers.<\/p>\n

1. Create the data source<\/h2>\n

Open Events Manager in Meta Business Suite, choose to connect a new web data source, and name it after your store.<\/p>\n

2. Choose the connection method<\/h2>\n

The easiest method for WooCommerce stores is connecting through an approved partner (such as the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin), which adds the Pixel and enables the Conversions API together without code.<\/p>\n

3. Enable the key events<\/h2>\n

Make sure you track: ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase, with value and currency.<\/p>\n

4. Test the events<\/h2>\n

Use the Test Events tab in Events Manager and place a test order to confirm each event arrives from both the browser and the server.<\/p>\n

5. Confirm deduplication<\/h2>\n

When the same event is sent from browser and server, it must carry the same event_id so the sale isn\u2019t counted twice.<\/p>\n

6. Verify your domain<\/h2>\n

In Business Settings, add and verify your store\u2019s domain, then monitor Event Match Quality regularly.<\/p>\n
